Why We Created the R.E.T.U.R.N. Process
At The Energy Studio, we’ve witnessed how many people come to this work carrying an invisible weight: the belief that something is wrong with them.
They’ve read the books. Done the healing. Attended the workshops. Yet underneath it all is this lingering sense that they’re still not “there,” still not “whole,” still not “fixed.”
Here’s the truth:👉 There is nothing wrong with you.👉 There is nothing to fix.👉 You are not broken—you are buried.
What’s covering you is not your fault. It’s a mix of ancestral pain, social conditioning, trauma, survival mechanisms, and the roles you’ve learned to play. But none of that is who you are.
The R.E.T.U.R.N. Process helps you peel back those layers—gently, honestly, and consciously—so that you can come back to your natural state of presence, joy, and internal safety.
The 6 Phases of the R.E.T.U.R.N. Process
Let’s break it down.
R — Recognise
Awareness is always the first step.Recognise when you’ve left yourself—when you’re stuck in your head, reacting to old patterns, or spiralling into fear, comparison, self-doubt, or people-pleasing.
Begin to ask:
“Is this response coming from my True Self… or my conditioning?”
This is not about blaming yourself. It’s about becoming the loving observer of your experience. Recognition is like switching on the light in a dark room. You can’t clear what you can’t see.
E — Express
Once you’ve recognised what’s present, let it move.Expression is the body’s way of digesting emotion and clearing energy. That might look like journaling, shaking, crying, dancing, or just breathing deeply into the feeling.
We’ve been taught to suppress, intellectualise, or override our emotions. But what we don’t express, we store. Over time, this creates pressure in the body and fragmentation in the psyche.
Expression isn’t indulgence—it’s liberation.Let yourself feel so you can free yourself.
T — Tune In
After the release, there’s space to listen.Tune in to your inner knowing. The quiet, wise voice that lives beneath the noise. The body’s subtle cues. The whisper of the soul.
This is where truth lives—not in logic or performance, but in presence.
Ask yourself:
“What is real for me right now?”“What is my deeper self trying to show me?”
This step brings you back to the body, to the breath, to your essence.
U — Unhook
Now you have the awareness and clarity—you can unhook from the old story. You’re no longer blindly following the narrative that says you’re too much, not enough, or unworthy.
You pause. You breathe. You choose again.
“That belief doesn’t belong to me anymore.”
Unhooking doesn’t mean the thought or pattern won’t come back—but you’re no longer fused with it. And that’s freedom.
R — Remember
This is where the shift happens.
You remember who you are—not the version shaped by survival, but the version aligned with truth, purpose, and inner strength.You reconnect to your wholeness, your value, your light.
This remembering isn’t forced. It emerges as you clear what’s in the way.
“I don’t have to become someone—I only have to be who I already am.”
N — Now
Come back to this moment.Drop into the now—not the past that hurt you or the future you’re trying to control. Just now.
From this presence, aligned action arises naturally. There’s no pushing. No proving. Just responding to life with clarity, integrity, and love.
This moment is safe. This moment is enough. I am here.
